Who we are

Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations (CCHF) is a collective of 13 children’s hospital foundations from across Canada who are dedicated to raising funds and improving healthcare for children. Established in 2017, CCHF works with corporate partners to launch fundraising initiatives and runs signature programs to raise funds across multiple channels.

We believe every kid should have a childhood

That’s why we raise funds and awareness to support 13 of Canada’s children’s hospital foundations. In fact, we’re the single largest non-government funder of children’s health in Canada.

Our mission is big

We’re on a journey to raise support so paediatric hospitals can provide critical services and equipment that accelerate recoveries, shorten hospital stays and get kids back to living the childhoods they deserve.

We do it for the kids

Whether it’s your child, the child of someone you know, or a child in your community, we’re here to stand up for all children, so they can get the care and treatment they need.

We don’t do it alone

We receive incredible support and generous contributions from our partners, signature programs like Children’s Miracle Network and individual donors like you.

We believe in child and family-centred care

Child and family-centred care aims to alleviate the stress and trauma of treatment. This innovative approach incorporates aspects of childhood into paediatric care — like music therapy, smartphone apps, children’s playrooms, family lounges and more — that give children a respite from treatment and a return to childhood, even if only for a moment, an hour or a day.

Your contributions support local children hospital foundations

When you give to Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations, we distribute your contributions to the children’s hospital foundation in your community or to a foundation of your choice. That means that 100% of your donation can make a difference in the lives of kids and families right in your neighbourhood.
