Where children are treated as children
Founded in 1992, Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation is committed to serving the children and families of Saskatchewan now and in the future. We are proud to provide maternal and paediatric equipment, enhancements, research and technology across the province.
Currently, our paediatric centre is located within our larger adult hospital. With the support of our community and local organizations, we are building a free-standing paediatric hospital for Saskatchewan’s children to receive the care they deserve.
Specialized care is on its way
Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital will be opening in fall 2019. Saskatchewan’s new maternal and children’s hospital will feature 176 private patient rooms, three dedicated maternal operating rooms with sleep space for parents, Saskatchewan’s first dedicated paediatric surgical suites, a Child Life Zone, family spaces throughout, and more.
A hospital made for children
Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital will feature dedicated space for children battling cancer, a new paediatric hemodialysis room where children with chronic kidney failure will receive treatment, plus a paediatric sleep lab so children will no longer have to travel out of province for sleep studies.
An ER where children feel safe and secure
The new paediatric Emergency at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital will be a calming space so children can feel secure and cared for while receiving emergency medical attention. This innovative space will have capacity to treat over 5,000 more visits than today.
paediatric health touches us all
Most people are either directly affected or know someone who’s affected by childhood illness. Let’s change that.
