Where children are treated as children
Founded in 1992, Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation is committed to serving the children and families of Saskatchewan now and in the future. We are proud to provide enhancements to maternal and pediatric equipment, research and technology needs thanks to the support from every corner of Saskatchewan and beyond.
Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital officially opened on September 29, 2019. Together, we are writing the next chapter of maternal and pediatric care to ensure our new provincial hospital is a world-class facility for generations to come.

A hospital made for children
Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital is home to Canada’s first-ever Child Life Zone thanks to country music legend Garth Brooks, his Teammates for Kids Foundation and The Mosaic Company. This 2,800 square foot space allows pediatric patients to heal faster and do what kids are meant to do – use their imaginations!
Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital is also home to the province’s first dedicated pediatric surgical suites and is the largest Single Room Maternal Care facility in the country.

Specialized care is on its way
The building is only the beginning. Now that Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital has opened doors, Saskatchewan is set to deliver the highest-level of care for our province’s sickest children and moms-to-be who need it. With province-wide pediatric care in full-swing and continued fundraising for the best equipment and research that impacts care, our families will be able to access the specialized care they need right here at home.

Helping kids across the province, regardless of postal code
Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital is Saskatchewan’s first-ever dedicated maternal and pediatric hospital. The 176-bed facility officially opened doors on September 29, 2019 and acts as a provincial hub; ensuring children, moms-to-be and families across Saskatchewan have access to the best care possible, no matter what their postal code is. Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital specializes in research, family-centered care and the use of remote-presence robotic technology to help meet the needs of the 60 per cent of children living in rural and northern Saskatchewan communities.
paediatric health touches us all
Most people are either directly affected or know someone who’s affected by childhood illness. Let’s change that.
