All content on this website is proprietary. Any use of our content, including statistics, financial data, children’s information, etc., must be approved by our Marketing and Communications team. Our content contains information about real patients and use of this information must be consented to by patients/member foundations.
Images
Images and photos of children across our website are real children with real life-changing conditions from real hospitals. Please do not use any images without seeking explicit permission from the team at Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations. Any use of these images, including, without limitation personal or commercial use, is strictly prohibited.
Press
For press and media inquiries of our team members, partners or member foundations, please contact info@childrenshospitals.ca, and a member of our team will respond within 24 hours. For press releases, we can provide our boilerplate and other details as required.
Branding
Our brand is very important to us. It represents 13 children’s hospital foundations and our mission. Please follow our branding and asset guidelines when working with us. If you would like to use our logo on any collateral, please contact our team prior to production or publication.
Our Logo
Keep the logo’s original blue colour.
Reverse the logo colour to white if against a darker background.
Make sure there is contrast between the logo and the background.
Don’t change the logo colour.
Don’t stretch or deform the logo in any way.
Don’t place the logo on a busy or low-contrast background.
Image Treatment
Photos tell stories, and our story is how we’re improving children’s health in Canada. Please be considerate when selecting images, particularly with children, and follow the guidelines below.
Use uplifting, inspiring imagery that promotes optimisim, hope, and can be used to tell a story.
Use the CCHF Blue & Green gradient at 75% transparency over grayscale images
Don’t use imagery that is dark, negative, discomforting, or appears too much like stock.
Don’t use the CCHF Blue & Green gradient with an overlay effect or with high contrast.
