We’re Celebrating Our First Digital Birthday!

This time last year, we had launched our website. Now, a year later, we’re taking a look back and realizing all the work that can be done within a year’s time. 

CCHF is proud of our achievements, but primarily of the goals we’ve accomplished together. We’ve gathered statistics to truly capture all the milestones that were achieved in the past year from a fundraising perspective, and how those dollars have made an impact on children’s hospitals.

• Our greatest achievement is that our partners and programs helped raised over $51 million in funds in 2019! ! Due to the generosity of our partners, their employees and teams, and participants of our programs, this will truly aid us in our mission to change the health of children across Canada.
• As a result of these funds, our 13 children’s hospital members were able to take in 2.4 million patient visits last year. This is huge! Whether that be routine check ups or important appointments for diagnostic tests, we’re ensuring families receive the attention they need.
• Our hospital members also were able to treat 680,733+ emergency department visits for children in the most dire of situations. This is an incredible step towards allowing kids to live their healthiest, most fulfilling lives.
• Lastly, 95,487+ surgeries were performed on children across Canada in 2019. That incredible statistic demonstrates how active measures are being taken to resolve a child’s health issues and how CCHF, with it’s partner supports and program donors, can step in with funds to ensure these procedure continue to occur.
