The age-old question: where does the dollar go?
When you donate to an organization, you probably think, “where does my money go?”
We’re proud to say that CCHF gives 100% of donations from our programs to our local hospitals. But you want to know what we spend the dollars on, right?
The money we give the hospitals is “undesignated”, which means the individual hospitals will choose where they need them most. We typically break this down into 5 specific areas.
11% of the total raised goes towards critical needs. This is anything from new equipment in high demand, to a facility that needs upgrading.
29% of donations are allocated to research so our hospitals can continue doing incredible things for kid’s health!
41% is for equipment needs to provide patients with the latest treatments available.
12% of funds support programs and services that help family and kids get through their treatments, and 7% support education.
Without funding from our incredible supporters and partners, our member hospitals would not be able to provide the quality care to families across Canada.
