Nori loves arts, dance and drums. She was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma at age six, and she underwent treatment that successfully restored her health. When the cancer returned, Nori kicked it back into remission. In late 2023, the cancer returned. Nori’s fight continues, but with SickKids by her side, she plans for a bright future.

After years of constant pain, Fatoumata was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia at CHEO. Over the years she has had many long hospital stays and multiple procedures including a lifesaving emergency open heart surgery. Fatoumata dreams of a career in medicine, law, or even acting, while demonstrating incredible resilience.
